The Gallery is situated in the picturesque Ljubljana old town, framing a small square near Shoemakers bridge, resting on the riverbank of Ljubljanica and gazing up to impressive tower of Ljubljana castle. But that is only the surroundings of the Gallery – even greater treasures can be experienced when entering the exhibition place.
The Gallery is a result of over thirty years of experience in the field of art and its market – experience that enabled Mr. Franci Novak to established the company Antikvitete Novak d.o.o. and the Gallery as a part of the company. Today the Gallery invites visitors to enjoy exquisite art works, selected and presented with knowledge and passion. Here you can admire art works from 15th and 16th century, delicate mastery of baroque furniture or contemplate the great changes of 20th century when looking at paintings and sculptures of Slovenian contemporary artists.
The company Antikvitete Novak d.o.o. is proud of its top collection of art works as well as of professional team that runs the company and offers high-quality services of reparation, conservation and restoration of art works. The professional team of restorers, conservators and experts of art world, including PhD of art history is performing its work most attentively and with great knowledge, enthusiasm and passion.
In the Gallery you will obtain all information of Slovene art world, you will see masterpieces of Slovene greatest artists and receive information on who is who in today Slovene art scene.
