1. MOVIE UNDER THE STARS / Summer cinema at Ljubljana Castle / From 11 July to 3 August 2019, every day at 21:30.
Film Under the Stars is an open-air cinema in the magical setting of Ljubljana Castle’s courtyard. In the most starry cinema in the city you can watch a selection of the most resounding films of the past cinema season, complemented by premieres and avant-premieres. 2. ANA DESETNICA / At Prešeren Square and various outdoor venues in Ljubljana / From 7. to 6.7. 2019
The Ana Desetnica Street Theatre Festival changes the streets of Ljubljana into a stage for a few days, where the audience also participates in performances. Every year this international street theatre festival means reunion for a large number of street artistes, clowns, circus performers, jugglers, tightrope walkers, fire-eaters, musicians, dancers and actors from Slovenia and abroad. Kids and grownups – you will definitely love this festival because it is always full of joy and laughter!
3. LJUBLJANA FESTIVAL /Various venues / From 6. to 14.9.2019
The festival’s rich programme of concert, opera, and ballet events features internationally renowned artists, including some of the world’s most recognised namesin music and performing arts.
