We see the adverse effects on people’s health and mental well-being living in cities, eating processed foods, and leading sedentary lives. People are disconnected from their natural environment, locally grown foods, and their own bodies. Our mission is to bridge these divides by helping children and adults to reconnect with nature outside the urban environment, learn how to eat healthier, and lead more active lives through activities and events we organize. Our events include healthy cooking workshops, exercise activities, theme dinners, psychology workshops, sport events, taking people to farms where they hand pick fruits and vegetables, etc.
By raising funds, we will help families in needs. The president and founder of the foundation Sunshine steps is Kaja Travnik, who lived and worked abroad and holds a Master degree in Law. She is also a yoga instructor, triathlete, nutritionist, foodie, traveler and simply a believer in good. She developed her own yoga classes and running courses, adjusted especially for women.
