The Gallery is a result of over thirty years of experience in the field of art and its market – experience that enabled Mr. Franci Novak to established the company Antikvitete Novak d.o.o. and the Gallery as a part of the company. Galerija Fotografija
Established in 2003, the Galerija Fotografija is the first private gallery in Slovenia dedicated solely to fine art photography. Located in the old Ljubljana city center, the Galerija Fotografija aims to popularize high-quality photography of established Slovene and international artists. Alongside up to nine annual exhibitions, the gallery also organizes lectures, round tables, and project presentations. The gallery entered the international art market in 2009, participating at the Vienna art fair, and continuing in at Paris Photo, MIA, ArtParis, Fotofever, Photo Basel… The gallery also runs a bookshop focused on photography literature.
